 Piyush Pandey, the legendary advertising executive renowned for creating iconic campaigns for brands like Fevicol, Cadbury, Asian Paints, and Vodafone, passed away at the age of 70 on October 24, 2025. He was widely regarded as a pioneer and the voice of Indian advertising, credited with giving Indian ads distinct cultural resonance and emotional depth. His career spanned nearly four decades at Ogilvy, where he served as Chief Creative Officer Worldwide and Executive Chairman India. Pandey was celebrated for memorable slogans and campaigns like Fevicol's "Todo Nahin, Jodo," Cadbury's "Kuch Khaas Hai," Asian Paints' "Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai," and the BJP's "Ab ki baar, Modi sarkar" election slogan. He received numerous honors, including the Padma Shri in 2016 and the LIA Legend Award in 2024. His death marks the end of an era in Indian advertising .
