This remark comes amid ongoing speculation about a leadership change in Karnataka, although Siddaramaiah himself has repeatedly assured that he will complete his full five-year term until 2028. Yatindra's comments have added to discussions but also emphasized the need for a progressive leader to take charge when Siddaramaiah eventually steps down.
